David started climbing as a freshman in college at the University of Central Missouri and immediately fell in love with the sport. While studying Exercise Science/Corporate Fitness, David decided that he wanted to pursue a career in the climbing industry and leave personal training behind. He completed his internship at RoKC his senior year, and decided to stay with RoKC post-graduation in 2018 as an instructor and customer service employee, and is now general manager of RoKC Olathe. Davids favorite part about working at RoKC is sharing his passion for climbing with others and getting to work with RoKC's incredible staff.

When David isn't working or climbing he enjoys traveling, snowboarding, and continuing his education of technical skills in the vertical world.
