David is an avid rock climber, mountaineer, runner, and yogi, with an unwavering love for nature and the outdoors. He was originally introduced to mindfulness and meditation while sailing in the Bering Sea as a commissioned officer in the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). His yoga practice came later as a method to counter the imbalances that can come with rigorous climbing training. David appreciates the physical, spiritual, and emotional growth a regular yoga practice can cultivate and teaches with the intention of integrating those aspects into his yoga classes. He is excited to teach yoga to climbers and to those who may benefit most from a regular practice.
